Services

I provide psychological support for adolescents, adults and couples, both in person in Bern and online.
My approach is integrative, evidence-based and tailored to each person's needs. I work primarily from a Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) framework, integrating elements from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness and body-oriented approaches, within a trauma-informed perspective.
I support clients experiencing anxiety, stress and burnout, low mood, self-esteem and confidence difficulties, relationship and couple difficulties, separation, life transitions, adjustment challenges and chronic pain.
I have a particular interest in couple and relationship work, women's psychological health and wellbeing, migration and intercultural experiences across the lifespan, as well as trauma, victimisation and the psychological impact of violence. My background in Criminology also informs my understanding of these experiences and of the broader social and relational contexts in which they occur.

Additional Information for the Patient

Starting psychological support can be an important step, particularly during periods of change, uncertainty or emotional distress. I aim to provide a safe, collaborative and non-judgmental space where you can better understand yourself and your patterns, explore what is happening in your life and relationships, and develop ways of responding that are more aligned with your needs and values.
Having lived and worked across different countries and cultural contexts, I am particularly attentive to the ways migration, culture, identity, relationships and different stages of life can interact with psychological wellbeing.
Sessions are available in English, Portuguese and Spanish, in person in Bern or online.
Consultations are privately billed. Depending on your insurance policy, partial reimbursement through supplementary insurance may be possible; please check directly with your insurer.
